Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino Annihilates Leslie Smith in UFC Debut
Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino’s Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) debut has been long overdue, but now that she officially signed, Cyborg is ready to make a statement. She wants to let everyone know how good of a fighter she is and that she is fully prepared for anything to come. To prove it, her debut fight lasted only 81 seconds into the first round against Leslie Smith at UFC 198, Saturday night. Although a very experienced fighter, she had never even stepped into the UFC Octagon before then. Justino even had to cut down to 140 pounds to make the fight possible.
Justino got very comfortable in the octagon and quickly found her rhythm. She started unleashing huge shots to Leslie’s body and head, the fight ended with a left and right hook that took Smith to the ground. Justino showed incredible power and the referee quickly called the fight. This is her sixth win in a row and she still holds the 145 pound championship in the all-female promotion, Invicta FC.
Not only will Justino benefit from this win, but so will Reebok as she was rocking all their gear in the Octagon. Her Reebok walkout hoodie is already on the market and with everyone taking about the most recent fight and her extraordinary debut, Reebok will get even more brand awareness.
